Paranormal Box Office Activity

The third Paranormal Activity movie came out last Friday, and reeled in a massive 54 million dollars. A 35 percent increase from the previous movie. This is the largest and biggest box office hit ever in the month of October. Since this movie is so low budget, the gross income will be ridiculously high.

I've only seen the first Paranormal Activity and that movie itself is pretty creepy, but from what i heard is that the second one is scarier than the first. And now, critics say the third movie is freakier than the previous movies and that it will stay with you for a while.

According to Mark Olsen from the New York Times, this movie has a "newfound wit and invention." And he goes onto say that this movie is not only scarier than the first two movies, but that it is also just a better made movie with a different kind of scary, not just the normal, cliche horror film.

From what I have heard so far, I want to go see this. It's scary, Halloween is coming up, it sounds like a good movie, so it all adds up to a movie i should go see.
